Ways to give

Giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. A Christian is called to labor, not to accrue personal wealth or possessions, but to steward God’s resources well and model Jesus to our brothers and sisters in Christ and to our community.

Our work is an effort to serve our Father in all things, and one of the primary ways we serve God is by cheerfully giving God our firstfruits. 

2 Corinthians 9:7 - "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 

Proverbs 3:9 - "Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce"

We are called to give, not by meeting some obligatory percentage, but by gladly sacrificing for the sake of the Gospel because Jesus sacrificed for us and all we have is His.
